	BMS Students and Teachers Featured in MDOT RIDES Promotional Video This video produced by the Mississippi Department of Transportation features students and teachers from Booneville Middle School participating in the RIDES (Roadways Into Developing Elementary Students) Program, a program which encourages student excellence in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. 	BSD School Board recognizes 2012 BHS Valedictorian and Salutatorian On Tuesday, May 8th, the Booneville School District School Board recognized Amanda Honeycutt and Kinsey Calvery for being the 2012 BHS Valedictorian and Salutatorian. Pictured are board member Dr. Catherine Mincy, Salutatorian Kinsey Calvery, Valedictorian Amanda Honeycutt, and Superintendent Todd English.
	BHS Track team qualifies for State Meet Congratulations to Coach Windham and the BHS Track Team for their success at the North Half Track Meet this past weekend. Six of our students qualified for state in both individual and team events. Qualifiers include Anthony Branch, Tracy Billups, Casey Farris, Layne Michael, Andre Avery, and Baillie Cunningham. These students will compete Friday at Pearl High School in the State Finals.
	BHS Tennis team competes in State Tournament Good luck to Coach Cartwright and the tennis players who qualified for the State Tournament to be played Monday and Tuesday.
	BHS Fast Pitch Softball wins Division 1-3A Championship. Congratulations to our Coaches and Girls for their win over Mooreville. We will play Nettleton at home Thursday at 6 PM and Saturday at Nettleton at 12 PM.
	BHS Golf team wins Division 1-3A Championship The BHS Golf Team will continue their season, playing Wednesday and Thursday in the playoffs.
	2012 BHS Cheer Golf Scramble The BHS Cheerleaders will sponsor a 4-man golf scramble at the Booneville Golf and Country Club Monday, July 2nd. Cost is $200 per team. Prizes will be given. See Amelia Gardner or Allison Gross for details.
	Congratulations to Keldrick Lesley for being chosen as the Daily Journal Boys Basketball Player of the Year! Kenny Paul Geno was also selected to the Daily Journal All-Area Team. Click the link for the complete article.
